The picture perfect mansion wedding

When this couple first approached me, it was easy to understand how far they had gotten together, and the love they had for each other. They had a clear vision of what their wedding day would look like, and together, we made it real.
The result? A beautiful ceremony bathed in light, surrounded by happy friends and family members, all joyous at the opportunity to celebrate this beautiful couple.

Venue & Location

We began the wedding planning journey by looking at suitable venue options. Amanda and Daniel knew the feeling they wanted and after a few weekend visits to some of the most beautiful venues near Stockholm, the choice fell on Gimo Herrgård. They adored the setting, the service and the exceptional food.

Gimo Herrgård was close enough to Stockholm and Arlanda, yet far away for most of the friends and family to stay over. It had enough rooms to host everyone and they could have an informal barbecue at the spa the night before.

The dinner reception was held in the garden tent because we wanted all the guests to be seated together. The tent looked so dreamy and when the dinner ended, the guests were led up into one of the salons for coffee, cake and a lush chocolate buffet. Meanwhile, the tent was transformed into a dance floor were the party continued until the small hours.

Decor & Styling

Amanda and Daniel had from the very beginning been clear with their vision of dusty pink roses and a luxurious feel.

We incorporated the natural colours of the location at this time; beige, light green and golden hues together with dusty pink and champagne.

The round tables were decorated with a mix of high and low centrepieces and we had pink napkins to bring out the right tones. Amanda didn’t want to print unnecessary paper goods for the day so instead we opted for a standing menu per table. It included an explanation of the name for the table and some fun facts about the couple. The place cards were hand written by calligraphy designer Juliette on dried eucalyptus leaves. As a token for the bar, each guest were given a golden bitcoin - a hint to Daniel’s big interest.

We don't really understand how people manage to do it themselves. It was so nice the day before when the new priest got in touch and said that "she might make it" to our wedding, to feel that you were there and could take over the dialogue. We had a bit of a panic there.”
