Hiring a wedding planner is an investment and we know you could have chosen anyone else, but you chose us!

We feel such gratitude to be able to be a part of your special day and want to ensure that you have a worthwhile experience with us throughout your planning journey!

This Welcome Guide gives you some basic information about how it will be working with us, now that we are official.

And of course, you are always welcome to reach out to us if you need anything at all.

We are so excited to guide you towards your wedding and help you focus on what in the end matters most - building a strong and lasting marriage.

COMMUNICATION

Preferred method of contact

To keep communication consistent, we will set up a WhatsApp chat where we can quickly get in touch with each other.

When it comes to important information/questions regarding the wedding, we primarily use email. Wedding details can get quite complex and information sent via chat/social media/messenger may get lost in the shuffle, and we never want to miss anything important for your big day.

We prefer emails to be kept in the same threads as it will be easier for all of us to go back and find what we need.

Office hours: By appointment only

We aim to get back to our clients as soon as we can and we are certainly flexible during the week and even evening hours, however, please do not expect a response from us over the weekends or between 8 pm-8 am.

When we are away for a project or wedding, we will turn on out-of-office to be able to focus solely on that event.

This is ensure the best experience for our clients and is something we hope you’ll respect and appreciate once it’s your big day.

Planning session meetings

Throughout the planning process we will be have regular planning session meetings (amount depending on what’s included in your proposed services).

Meetings are held over video chat (Google Meet) and if possible, in-person.

It's during the planning meetings we go over the progress of the planning, therefore, we kindly ask you to save most questions to these meetings.

Additional meetings: If you want to schedule additional meetings, let us know and we will plan them in!

AGREEMENT

Confidentiality and Ownership of Materials

The materials provided by us, including but not limited to images, videos, designs, and any preparatory or planning documents, are the exclusive property of Wahlman Weddings. These materials are intended solely for your personal use and must not be shared, copied, distributed, or repurposed in any manner without our express written consent.

Right to Share Project Details

We work in a visual industry and, therefore, reserves the right to share selective behind-the-scenes content related to the planning and development of this project. This may include progress footage, insights into our creative process, and certain project highlights to showcase our work and skills. Any content shared will respect the confidentiality and privacy of all parties involved.

Display Rights of Images

All photos from the event or planning process that are shared with us are greatly appreciated! If images are provided by the photographer or by you, it is understood that we have the permission to use them for marketing purposes, including on the website, social media, and in advertising or print.
We kindly ask that any client or vendor publications mentioning Wahlman Weddings include credit and a link to our website or social media (Instagram), if possible.

GDPR

In connection with booking/ordering, you permit us to share information with suppliers in order to complete the agreed services.
You agree that their contact information may be used in connection with delivery/pickup of any products, feedback and for future mailings.
Of course, you have the right to have your data corrected, deleted or blocked and can opt out of further mailings at any time.
