A summer celebration near nature

In the heart of their own estate by the water, surrounded by the beauty of nature, Linn and Jonas celebrated their love in a wedding that will forever be etched in their hearts and the memories of all who were fortunate to attend. This rain-kissed celebration served as a beautiful reminder that love, like nature, can endure the storms and emerge even more vibrant and radiant.

It was a wedding that perfectly blended the serenity of nature with the warmth of them and their guests’ hearts.

Location & Venue

They got married at their own grounds with their newly-built house in the background. Living abroad during the Swedish winter months, it was important to them to celebrate their union during the summer. In an area they call home!

It couldn’t have been more right for them and the transparent tent that was raised on site became the perfectly set center of the celebration.

The Wedding Day

The venue's beauty was a stunning reflection of the couple’s love for the natural world.

The ceremony was a magical blend of tradition and nature, with the couple standing beneath a minimalist arch adorned with fabric, some wildflowers and ferns. The raindrops added a poetic touch, symbolising that the good things are worthy to wait for. When the sun rays came out, it added to the start of their journey together.

The ceremony was followed by a delicious strawberry cake and some sparkling.

When the evening began, so did the reception, including the delicious farm-to-table meal, the live folk band, and the heartfelt speeches that touched the hearts of all in attendance.

Their love story is a testament to the beauty of embracing the unexpected and finding peace in any situation, as a gentle rain shower graced their special day, creating a unique backdrop for their union.

Styling & Decor

Linn and Jonas have a deep connection to nature and we wanted to incorporate the surrounding colours, plants and materials as much as possible.

The decor was an embodiment of rustic elegance, with wooden accents, greenery, and hints of wildflowers adorning the space. The personal touches and earthy color schemes, truly brought their vision to life.

The talented photographer and videographer team with Vesa and Niclas from Locksen Visuals captured the essence of the day, including intimate moments in the rain, romantic portraits by the water, and the pure joy on the faces of Linn and Jonas as they partied under the starry dark sky.

Grilled beef fillet with roasted flank pork and small onions served with potato gratin, grilled primroses and pak choi, roasted new potatoes with fresh herbs, roasted skewers with browned butter, pepper sky, grilled branch tomatoes, cream cheese with garlic and of course béarnaise sauce
