A romantic & bohemian wedding

Like many couples had to do, Martina and Rickard’s wedding was unfortunately postponed twice during the pandemic. However, this extra time allowed them to create new visions for their weddings, gather new ideas and inspiration that they needed help with putting together for their big day.

The location

The private castle of Bogesunds lies just outside of Stokholm, and from the very first moment, it was clear that the couple had fallen in love with it. The emptiness of the space granted infinite styling options, and it was to be a gorgeous and grand backdrop for a romantic and pastel-coloured event.

The Wedding Day

The ceremony was held in the Chapel, a simple but elegant space that we decorated with a wooden arch and a white drape. They were wed by Martina’s brother, and he did such a splendid job with his heart-warming speech.
They were surrounded by stunning flowers arranged by Madeleine at @bloomspourMoi, with their golden and soft pink hues, they complemented the scene spectacularly.

At the end of the ceremony, the couple met their guests outside for laughs, photos and chatter. They mingled nibbling on strawberries and canapes, while sipping champagne. A sophisticated continuation suited to this wonderful location, wasn’t it?

The wedding dinner was held in the couple’s favourite room of the castle, which they hand-picked themselves. It held antiques that they were so fond of, and that added to the magic of the setting. To enhance it, we placed leather-bound books on the table, as well as warm-coloured candles and vases.

When it came to ending the night, the Karavanen band got everyone up on their feet to dance along and celebrate together. In that room, we built a bar from scratch where guests could enjoy their preferred cocktails as they were having fun.
As a last, wonderfully appreciated surprise, a Crêperie van set up outside of the venue to serve guests with delicious and freshly made Crêpes to satisfy hungry and dancing people. Truly a fun way to end the celebrations!
