Adena and Tomik’s wedding was a breathtaking celebration of love, culture, and unforgettable scenery. As an Armenian couple from the United States, they initially envisioned a grand city wedding in Stockholm, where Tomik grew up. After exploring venues like the Grand Hotel, they fell in love with the stunning waterfront charm of Ekensdal in Nacka, nestled in the Stockholm archipelago.

The Location

The venue, with its wooden deck and serene water views, became the perfect canvas for their vision. However, with more guests than the indoor space could accommodate and a desire for a more tailored style, we transformed the outdoor area with a transparent tent. Collaborating closely with the talented team from With a Flair Events, the result was nothing short of magical.

The Wedding Day

The ceremony was a showstopper, featuring a lush floral arch that framed the couple as they exchanged their vows. Guests arrived by boat from central Stockholm, and Adena and Tomik made a grand entrance by boat as well, setting the tone for an extraordinary day.

Armenian traditions added energy and culture to the celebration, with dancing woven into every moment of the event. From the first steps into the reception to the final hours of the night, the dance floor was alive with joy.

The reception featured Ekensdal’s renowned cuisine, but it was the breathtaking setting and thoughtful design that stole the show. The cascading floral arrangements, including a dramatic cake table display, created an atmosphere of elegance and romance. The sunset over the archipelago added another layer of magic, leaving everyone in awe.
