Kristin and Oscar’s wedding was a seamless blend of German, Swedish, and New York influences—a true reflection of their unique journey. The couple first met at university in New York City, where they spent many years building their life together. When it came time to celebrate their wedding, they wanted to honor their time in NYC while hosting family and friends in the heart of Stockholm.
The Location
The ceremony took place in a stunning venue with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Strandvägen, one of Stockholm’s most iconic streets.
The Wedding Day
With the grand Hotel Diplomat as a neighbour and a string quartet setting the mood, the ceremony was both cool and elegant, embodying the sophistication of Stockholm and New York City.
Following the vows, guests mingled over drinks before heading up to the event area of 7A Strandvägen for a three-course family-style dinner on the third floor. The decor tied in NYC’s vibrant energy, with tables named after different neighbourhoods and beautifully designed stationery inspired by the city.
Kristin and Oscar’s shared love for Las Vegas added another fun twist to the evening. Guests received personalized Playbills featuring details about the couple and their guests, and after dinner, everyone enjoyed a blackjack table, bringing a touch of Vegas excitement to Stockholm.
As the night continued, a DJ duo played the couple’s favorite songs, keeping the dance floor packed until the very end. And in a perfect fusion of their German and New York roots, guests were treated to bratwurst served in a New York-style hotdog twist—a much-needed late-night snack before heading home.
Kristin and Oscar’s wedding was a celebration of love, culture, and personal style, effortlessly merging their international story into a day their guests will never forget. It was an honor to bring their vision to life and create a celebration as unique and special as their love.

“We were initially not sure whether we should hire a wedding planner as we had already chosen a venue and a photographer. We decided to have a conversation with Karolina anyways and decided right away to hire her. Looking back I cannot imagine how our wedding day would have worked without her. She made fantastic vendor recommendation, gave amazing ideas for decoration and for how the actual ceremony should go. She took over vendor communication about a month before the wedding and on our wedding day itself, we could just enjoy our time, as if we were part of the guests. I did not have any fears or worries going into the day as I was confident that Karolina had a handle on it. When the Photo Booth stopped working during the wedding, she fixed it. Our gifts were already in the hotel when we came back at night. We are so grateful for all she has done to make our day so special.”
